WestJet and Air Canada come out of Calgary. I don't think they fly direct, though.

Forgot Swanberg, I think they go out of RD

Wow, West jet and Air Canada are like $85 each way and Swanberg is like $250?

That is what i did over the Christmas break---actually went N/W between Peace River/Fort St John(HighWay-64) to my folk place.Air Canada wanted 1000.00 to fly though Edmonton and it would take about 6 hour to get there, then my pops would have to drive 2 hour to come get me---i was there in 10 hours, just over 1035KM from Calgary---round trip took about 19 hours of driving and 275.00 in diesel(.10c more than home---average was .92c/ltr).

Yes,about 20 minutes past----RR #83 just west(on the way to Fort St John) past the Worsley turnoff at the end of the dead end road---pops has a 1/4.They bailed from Calgary during the boom, cashed out and head up there, cold does not bother them as they have lived in the NWT when i was a little dude.Sister is just outside of Rycroft, has her PHD in Environmental Sciences---works for some environment testing company out of GP .DW.

Cool, pretty near neighbors. I've worked out around Worsley off and on over the last 10 years or so, so can kinda picture their turn-off.
