Cool Fall GTG/Dyno Red Deer Sept 26.

After much banter, we are having a little shaker at Canada Custom Vehicles in Red Deer Alberta on September 26, 2009.

Canada Custom Vehicles
Gasoline Alley West
342 - 37400 Hwy 2
Red Deer County, Ab
www.canadacustomvehicles.com

Our chapter was invited to attend their Summer Sell Off event on September 26 with the event starting at 8:30am (Tim Hortons is only a block away ) and going until they are done.. Could be dark and cold by then.

They are holding a Performance Dyno Competition with Cash and prizes to be won. The Dyno is open to Diesel and gas with categories for each to compete in. To run the rolls will be $90. That being said, if we can supply a sign up sheet for confirmed names by Wednesday Sept 23, they will book a slot of time for the Diesels to go forward together (Makes sense for setup etc.) Their lot is expansive with lots of parking space around so we should be able to have a corner to ourselves.

Interested? Here's what you do...

Post if you are attending or not. In that post also indicate if you are going to participate in the Dyno. (for me I am not wanting a prize, just have some fun).

Hope to see you guys there!

I'm in for the GTG & to spin the rollers.

There could be a long line up for the dyno if a ton of gasser cars & trucks show up but should be a great time regardless.

I should dust off my Mustang & trailer it up there also!

I'm a maybe for making this one, but if I do, I'll put the 12v on the rollers again. I gave up having the saturday off to my foreman when I thought we were not doing this till october, time to see if I can get that changed.

Joe, are you gonna turn your smarty up this time?

I'm still too much of a chicken you know what.. I still have the stock turbo & my SB DD clutch is not installed yet...
And I'm sick of fixing broken stuff on my vehicles, at work and around my house..

Is that enough excuses?!!

you should pedal a bike over and put it on the rollers!!!
whoever can make the most power/torque gets a free dinner collectively bought by others who pedal on the rollers!!!

why is the truck down?

I drove my dually for 6 months with a slipping clutch. I did it for a month in the 12v. You'll be fine unless you need to tow something, and RV season is over.
