EMS Offroad Manual Hub Kit

Been awhile since i've been on here. So i installed EMS Offroad's MLH kit this weekend. Been wanting to get away from the unit bearing's since i bought the truck. This was the perfect upgrade. My truck only has 152,600km but i my bearings were already rough. For good measure we replaced my balljoints as well. Used a 4" holesaw to cut my caps. What do you guys think?

P.S. This is their extreme kit so it came with 35 spline outers and warn premium hubs

How much was the kit? I'd like locking hubs for 2wd low when moving trailers around but not enough to drop $1000+.

The kit cost around $2000 to bring up here, it is pricey but now I never have to worry about unit bearings anymore plus I have the 2wd low option

Then just get the Posi-Lok. It's a lot cheaper.

The hubs look great. Just wish i had that kind of money to get them.

I've been saving for awhile for this upgrade. It's all about doing what you want in moderation. I buy stuff as I can afford it. That way I don't owe anybody money and I'm not able to support myself as well

LOL, I guess Brad really messed up buying the EMS kit for $2k instead of that kit for $163!!

Just kidding!!

The 2003+ Dodge 4x4's do not have any kind of CAD system in the front axle. It's full time, all the time.
The CAD disconnect kits are only for the '94-'02 2nd Gen Dodge 4x4's.

Manual locking hubs are the only option. While this is a pricey upgrade, the benefits will pay off in the long run.
Increased reliability, gets rid of those lame sealed unit bearings, the ability for 2wd low range, fuel mileage improvement, plus cheaper & easier to service in the future.

Plus, IMO, it raises the resale value of the truck.

Yowza! Mine was only $1300. Granted mine was SRW and no ABS, but another $700 seems like a lot of extra coin.

Actually a good portion of the 02's especially late build trucks don't have the CAD system either.

It's only a matter of time and the prices will come down, they already have from a few years ago. I know that I am going this route for sure, 350,000 kms on the factory unit bearings, only time now.
