So Kev, you get it running? You only have a few days before the big race.
Can't you put a volt meter on the injector and see if you get voltage at the injector? How does the injector fire? Is it an AC frequency or something simple like a DC signal (on/off)?

I can't see why you can't hook-up a scope and see what ECM is sending out.
I don't want to try this stuff with my 6.7L, yet, but at some point I want to. You could even set the scope trigger off the crank position sensor to see if injection cycles are firing at the right time.
Wouldn't a piezoelectric injector would be fired binary???

I am not much help but 03 had 11 different ECM configerations due to changes in programming, and some were compatable and some were not with different engines. Changing ECMs around would result in some very different situations. One of them is a mis firing engine.
If you can get ahold of a DRB3 scan tool then you should be able to see if the injector is getting power and firing properly.
Using a volt meter would be hard to tell if voltage is getting their due to the small and quick application.
There is a guy down in Olds that may have a ECm or two kicking around. Not sure what he might charge or loan out, Bernard (403) 938-3888

I have a tool to reprogram a ecu to work with any truck. I have eliminated that as the problem now. I have pulled the injectors, going to go into each cyl with my boroscope and take a peak. But for this weekend it will be the 13 second ford it looks like. I bought all new o-rings and washers for the injectors. Give that a try. My friend Keith in GP (he is a dodge mechanic) thought that this could be a possiblility. Give that a try tomorrow night.
I'm pretty sure it was 06 they went with the two plug system, they also put on a plastic valve cover. an 06 computer would not work on an older truck as in 06 they went to can communication.
