I believe its 95-97 that had the larger rotors. Earlier were the same size as Dodge rotors. Mace found that out a couple months back when putting new rotors on his truck with the EMS hubs, which use all Ford parts.

It is an Alberta chapter thing, it is not about being helpful, it is about he has redonkoulusly large axles in his truck. It is a subtlety the the internet cannot convey.

Speaking of which, Luke I am looking at a set of 2.5 ton top loaders for my first gen. Just to one up you...

Which year of dodge rotors? 3rd 13.9in rotors and the 4th gen run 14.125 in rotors, my 02 has 12.85 rotors.

Been awhile since this thread was started, thinking about starting with a hi-pinion ford dana 60 axle for this build-up.

Don't need ground clearance for pulling.

There are some big super duty rotors, but then you have to use the 10 bolt rims.

Rockwells sure would look cool on a truck, running some 40's. Perfect for good back old gravel road cruising You thinking about running hydralic steer?

Thanks Mike, but...I just want better braking for the 98 12 valve, I have a large enclosed and ...I just want better brakes.

I have a 75 Crew that will be getting a 12 valve and 40-44 inch rubber. tell me more about the hydraulic steering, is it street legal?

To be fair, your chevy was just a wannabe 10-lug truck.

I seen one on the PSC wedsite, I think we will build our own. There are some home build stuff on the 4X4 websites.
