Car trailer
Car trailer
With my relative having cancer, she is not sure how long she is going to keep the farm.I have 9 cars and one tractor that I have to do something with.I could try and sell them in Sask or start bringing one at a time and try and sell them here.
I was thinking of goose neck but they are still expensive and I also have to weld in a support frame for my drop down ball hitch.I was thinking a straight pull car trailer.Maybe about 24 feet.Does anyone know someone that is selling a straight pull trailer for a resonable price???

I know Fred reccomends Factory Outlet trailers (I think thats the name) in High River. Thats where he was getting his gooseneck. There is also a guy who brings trailers back from Manitoba for decent prices, but he waits until he has about 6 or 7 on order to make it worth the trip. He also wrecked his truck, so that might be on hold. Contact Fred for the shop in High River's info.
Where in sask Dave? I bought my trailer from fosters in gp,, but I dont think that they have the best prices,, but I have a card at my office of a guy that I felt had very good prices,, when I get back to work on monday I will shoot you his name and number.

I bought my 7K 18ft H&H tilt deck from FOT in Okotokes. Good people to deal with. Had a few issues with the trailer but at the time it was priced the same new as a lot of people wanted for used, non-tilt trailers.

I bought mine a while ago and they have improved the design since then. 6 bolt wheels insyead of the goofy 5 on 5.75 that I got.
Go for the LED option if its offered, I had to swap out my tailights to LEDs since I kept rattling the filaments out of the bulbs.
The original tires were crap, 205/70/15s load range "C". Burned them off pretty quick. Upgraded to 225/75/15s load "D". Getting much better milage now.
Shell out for a spare tire. 2 buddies of mine bought the same trailer when I did. One got a flat his first trip out with it.

Yeah Dave check out FOT they really are the cheapest way to get one other then driving to the states, mind you when I was pricing them out it would have only saved me about 200-300 bucks driving down to get one.
also spend the extra bucks and get a trailer that has 16" tires, mine has 2 7000 # axles, and also get a tilt deck if you can afford it,, worth every penny,, no rattleing of the ramps, way easier to load, unload dead vehicles
