Calgary source for Heim joints

Hello all...

I need new ball joints on my fuel linkage (94 Dodge 2500 / Cummings) and someone suggested replacing them with heim joints, more commonly known as rod end or rose joint bearings. Does anyone have advice on where to find these joints in Calgary area... The rod male thread is a 6mm fine thread (me thinks)..

Thanks

Mike

evolutions are the best no doubt. and rebuildable.

edit - oh the throttle linkage. maybe not that small. they make mostly steering sizes and suspension sizes. and monster size.

I know clay made a run of small heims for quad suspensions for a couple buds. but still not as small as that needs to be. just hit mopac I think for something off the shelf.

clay made some gnarly trac bars for a bunch of diesel trucks. he did the set on kevins chevy when it was new. and newly lifted.

he does made TRE's but they are for a chevy 1ton taper. hes still a 1 man show so r&d for new products doesn't move fast. I told him years ago to get into dodge front end parts.

Try Greggs.

They have various sizes, right down to really small, usually in stock.

well, i would look on the net first off, google is excellent.

Next, I would look at either 6130-51 Street S.E. Or

5755-11 Street S.E. In calgary anyway.

Those are my suggestions, I might have more, but I think I'm done for the day.

Good luck with the throttle linkage

yup those are the 2 locations I've been to both.

one on 11th....is directly across the street from Standens. the other is right at the corner of 52st and 61ave in the foothills industrial park. easy to find.

the one further south across from standens is the main calgary branch. they always seem to have more items in stock than the foothills branch. if it's not that big of a detour for you - just go to the one on 11th across from standens . . . might save yourself a trip.

If Gregg's (foothills industrial location) does not have the parts take a walk across the street (east across 52st) to Precision Framework. It is custom bike shop and they have or might be able to fabricate what you are looking for.
