oh ya, and he told me on the phone when i ordered my mini maxx that the price was the same in US or canadian funds, our dollars are so close right now it doesn't make a big difference anyway.the only difference was which side of the border he mailed it from by the sounds of it.

Just for options to consider Glacier deisel power has the smarty jr on sale for 495 right now

The exhaust sounds high if its a single 5in but if you getting something special, then thats different.

Harry sells smarty as well, but at $575 sounds about right.

I just built my own delete pipe on my 2010 truck, my costs maybe $30-40. I had left overs from another project we had on the go. You just need to remove the cat/dpf. A 40in chuck of 4in exhaust pipe is all you really need.

Good luck.

Can't say enough good things about Harry @ Peak. Just ordered up a new set of DDP injectors for my '06, and nobody could come close to his price.

Also, you'll really like that 6.7 after the emissions crap is removed. My brother had his '10 done when he bought it, and it has been flawless. He's a consultant so it sits on lease and runs all day and no issues. Milage sucked off the start, but now that he has 25,000kms on it he said its regularly getting 18-19 mpg.

Well I called and talked to Harry. Seems like a great guy to talk with. I think we spent an hour on the phone talking about different options and pricing. After doing so I gave my local shop to price match what Harry gave me.........couldn't touch Harry's pricing.

I think I am going to with a smarty Jr, delete kit and a MBRP 5" aluminized with a 6" tip. Gotta call him back a get some pricing on a pillar pod and gauges. I know i could with a mini maxx for roughly the same pricing as the jr and gauges, but i really dislike shift on the fly POD and really like the torque adjustibliity of the smarty.

i don't want that much temptation at my finger tips. every buddy of mine with a pod programmer, especially after a drink or two, tends to show off and beat up on the truck. i like to think i am a little nicer to my trucks then that, but i know after a drink or two i have been known to do a brake stand or two. kind of just want a set and forget type thing.

You have the similar shift on the fly power adjustments with the mini as the pod. H&S has lots of tunes available for their programer. You might need to upgrade the clutch some, the stock units isn't know for lasting long at the higher power settings.

Carefull 6.7L that run the stock VGT turbo, seem to have issues with head gaskets on the higher boost pressures. The stock VGT will cause excessive drivepressures/egt's. Its a real handicap for getting anymore power out the 6.7L.

Yeah i have been doing extensive reading on power level adjustments. a clutch was done at 100 000 Km on this truck at the dealership. I can only assume it was a stock replacement so I am just going to do the deletes and run the stock power level. Once the stock gives up the ghost on stock power then i'll upgrade. I have to watch what I spend on truck with my old lady in school right now LOL. Hope it'll make a year cause then I am home free and can spend what I like.

The extra power is like a double edge sword. When you do the clutch at least by a dual disk clutch, they work nice for getting all the power to the wheels. The stock clutch doesn't seem to last to long, even in a stock truck. Most of the stock stuff is directed at stock trucks, that really don't tow.

Well I pulled the trigger today.... placed an order with Harry. 5" MBRP S/S TBE, MBRP 6" tip, smarty jr, H&S egr delete kit, and triple pod with boost pyro and fuel pressure. I can't wait for my packages to arrive

I think i have started down a steep slippery slope

The truck will really wake up. Probably the only issue will be the clutch. I would also run some kinda of additional fuel filtration system as well. These engines/injectors just hate dirty fuel. Other than that, lay down the throttle. Clutches are easy...to install...

Number one reason I bought this truck with the 6 speed manual. I know I can handle clutches. Only ever done about a hundred clutch jobs in my a past LOL but zero autos.

Next two items I want are the fast/air dog fuel systems and upgraded clutch. I have a couple rebuilt webastos sitting in my garage too, need to get one of them installed soon too.
