Sounds like a good time. Unfortunately, my truck is dead right now-so I will be spending the weekend doing failure analysis on it and searching for its temporary replacement....

The thought of setting the truck on fire crossed my mind slightly longer than briefly . But looks like cooler heads prevailed-I picked up a 4.7 Dakota CC 4x4 on Friday in the city to use while this truck is down-probably will be dead a couple weeks while I fix the problem that knocked it dead in the first place and maybe attend to a few more things that have been getting put off for lack of time....

Just adding to Greg's comments on the Cummins Forum..
That was good fun. Friendly, knowledgeable guys and girls and lots of good info exchanged.
This was my 1st diesel get together other than the diesel get togethers in campgrounds.
Lots of very nice trucks
Little Lead Foots (Debra's?) 24Valve is awesome. Dave's 6.7L is very impressive. His stacks are a work of art...
Next time we do a cruise around also!!
I mentioned the revised 3rd Gen door weather stripping to some.
Here is a link to a thread with the TSB link and my post with all the p/n's.

The new weatherstipping is well worth it. Cures the door rub and any whistling.
I also mentioned the A/C condenser guard. I have had mine for 4 years and it's a nice piece. It's not pricey, simple install and no effect on cooling.
I see that they make these guards for the 2nd Gen trucks now too. These are made by Kilby Enterprises.

Yep, I'll agree with you joe, next time we'll have to do a cruise as well, but it was tons of fun, lots of friendly folks with lots of information. And yes, Deb's truck is awesome, it hauls *** for sure.
