The "anyways" and "may as wells"......
Anyone else have this problem? Usually leads to an empty wallet and ****** off spouse and a small project that balloons into a major undertaking.
It starts like this...."since I am.....(insert mundane chore here), I may as well...(insert perfectly reasonable sounding upgrade or extra step here).
Next thing you the project has ballooned to 5 times its size, you wife is mad, and you have to borrow money to finish it off.
This doesn't happen just with vehicles, house renos are prone to it as well....

Vacation RV property up at Gull Lake i bought 3 years ago----were the heck is the vacation---more like a money pit/labour camp, let do this and that.20k later and now its a bigger fiver for better comforts, then a boat but first i'll need a garage to store that boat in,how about a golf cart/shed too/stone fire pit/pad.Gotta have the place look nice for the friends/family,8k for a huge deck to sip the bevies----WHERE WILL THEY STAY----BUNK HOUSE here we come.Hope to have all the plans done within the next 2-3 years and then i get to enjoy it,glad i"m not paying to have the work done but my back is not getting any younger.70+yards of rock/dirt bought in on my flatdeck, moved 50 trees and "BORROWED "50+ sandstone boulders/
from the fields for some decorative measures.Nice thing is i bought in before the real estate boom so i"v a least doubled my money with what they are asking for the newer phase lots.Got a good score yesterday delivering to one of my accounts----seem a certain beverage company forgot that they delivered a new 1/2 size pop cooler there.Owner called them/did not need it and they said keep it.He gladly donated it to the lake property----

BEER FRIDGE----"MMMM YUMMY" David.

Thanks for the high thoughts----,but i have my own bread run/territory with a truck(delivery guy/merchandiser),not what i wanted to do but it pays really well+bonus, long hours,6 days a week for the last 18 years, same company.Bit of a mechanic ("backyard" from my father he rebuilt a lot of motors in his day---Dodge man all the way)---rebuilt a few gasser on my own and "try"to tackle most jobs but time is my problem with this crazy service/work schedule and i'm really did not care for a diesel till i bought one in 2001.Sorry long winded---but one thing that makes up for this crazy job it is you work alone---no boss/no problems as long as you do your job, which goes a long way with me---.and to top it all off---i 'm up at 2:45AM every morning
