I am looking to buy a used HX 40 or something similar for the old critter. I know Peirs has one and BD has the super . but i figure it Cant hurt to ask locally

 

there is alamo turbo, DPS, Big dog, and a few others. Alamo is mainly turbos and might have the better price. Look on e-bay also. i have seen lots on there.

 

Thanks Dodger I was at Big dog on Friday just waiting on there prices. The eBay route always scares me a bit with the turbos. some of the HX-40 s on there are dogs and they know it, they are trying to dump the on the dodge guys as ones that will fit our trucks .I will phone Alamo turbo on monday

Lol yep bin lurkin on all of them. Got the rims and the ASA modified next will be lift and tires and the exhaust and turbo probably going to do the manifold and injectors too sooner than later

 

Roxxx, brother-in-law has a super B turbo, manifold and intercooler for sale, they are off a 2006 if they work for you. If interested pm me and I'll give you his number. oops reread your op probably won't work for the 92

hey guys thanks for the replies (was on coast ) I talked briefly to Alamo in Calgary and had good response from their sales person. I will try pm Mr. Mike Holmen GreyTD I think the super B would work but he probably wants to sell all at once thank you

 

I have two brand new cheap HX-40 available. I have to Two different compressor impeller and turbine sizes housings. I have two new ones and HX-40 core that you could repair is also available. I also have few other types of turbos available but they would take some work to install. I would try one and see if you like. We could even work out a trade as I keep breaking stuff on my truck so I almost need everything except these turbos. There are just sitting in my garage collecting dust.

 

wow! sorry i haven't responded sooner just bin stupid busy. ha gotta love computers feast or famine for me anyways.i will pm you when i get the build plan sorted out. still have the 2006 cummins going back in 3 weeks which will free Up a lotta loot .
