Anyone in Ft Mac?

Well as some of you know, I have moved to the hustle and bustle of Ft Mac. Going to be here for at least 3 years. I am hoping that maybe there is some folk up here that I can get together with for a beer and a chin wag. Hopefully I will have a house bought here sooner than later, I would like to get some work done on my truck before august blackout. Going to try real hard to hit a race in Fairview on the first weekend in august to do some testing (hopefully I dont break anything lol)

House hunting is easy in this town, paying for it is the problem. Getting work is easy, living with the stupidity is much more challenging & traffic is what stress is caused by. Welcome to the 2nd largest city in NFLD. 85,000 residents and 40,000 transients depending on the day, home of the suicide 500 and chaos makes cash!!! PK

Every time I go up there, its a fatality crash on the highway to site.

Tuesday, a fatality at the mine. Heavy hauler crushed a mechanics truck.

Me too. I dont think Ive been out to the plant without seeing at least 1 vehicle crashed or on its roof. One trip it took 3 hours to get from town to Syncrude. Not good if yove got a full bladder.

When I was there two years ago, a crash on 63 backed it up so bad, it took us 2 hours to get from the Suncor extraction to Millenium camp. Thats normally about a 10 minute bus ride.
