I sure enjoyed driving my truck out here. Went from a snow storm by lake louise, can't see the road. To a single lane thru rogers pass, avalance. Messy roads, to no snow. I had the messiest truck out here, until I joined the clean truck club. I washed my truck for $3, wow. Cheaper to live out here. fuel ranged from 94-1.06 for diesel in vancouver and island. I have a big tank, so I can drive the entire trip in three tanks. Next time, I want to use my slip tank. I probably could run just on cheap fuel then. I don't know I'm on side with not using the truck and having it purfect, cause I like nice stuff, but to be able to drive one of these trucks as a daily driver, is the best rush. I still get a kick out seeing people's faces when my truck pulls up beside them.

$56 one way for one person. It was a fun trip. I did good job on killing a few extra brain cells. I like it over there. My down town hotel room was less than $60 a night.

I need a moose bumper, for that get out the way reaction. Just everytime I started the truck up, everyone gave a look of what the heck is that thing? I got three rock chips in my windshield, o-well, its almost time for a new one. My truck was brownish-black most of the trip. So much road grit and rocks flying everywhere.

That is the BC tree huggers/Prius loving giving you their evil stare for driving such an anti-environmental vehicle.Probable make my retirement out there one day---kinda like Port Alberni as it still has mountains like Alberta but with a lot of small lakes for fishing.I'm eying the Trailready pre runner for my 07 one day, slap 3 10 inch Lightforce Strickers/LineX coating/ maybe a 16.5 Warn winch and your set to go----seem "naked" compared to the 01 without. Here's a pic side by side up at the lake(me in the background starting the patio cover). If i take my 01 the MRS beats my a$$ up to the lake in the 07---she has taken a liking to the Smarty JR now,i turned it down though cause she brakes the rears loose.

Nice you hear you had a good trip. Just picked up my smart car killer today road armor w/ titan II grill guard I think people will get out of the way once I get it installed, if not the new lift and tires should be big enough to just run em over Just got back from sweetgrass, man I hate all the shitty drivers.....you people in calgary jeeze the deerfoot is fricken insane....I so love soccor moms going 150km talking on a cell phone weaving in and out of traffic cutting me off was 0.0001 seconds away from running over a stupid honda, I seriously think my bumper went over their trunk when they cut me off...

Not sure how you like such a long drive! I was going to go crazy driving all the way to sweetgrass and back......

If you like the Line X--- thats the way to go with these bumpers----seen many with the powdercoating and after a few years with the "bug/rock" chips they don't look so good anymore as they start to rust or need to be recoated----to do both mine front Titan II and rear was 800.00 with tax but included 250.00 get them sandblasted for a better stick.---lots of good comments on the coating and the bugs just exploded when they hit, usually get the "guts/spray" mostly on the windsheild. and YES i would do it again with this coating for my 07.DW

[QUOTE= you like such a long drive! I was going to go crazy driving all the way to sweetgrass and back......[/QUOTE]

I have no probs, I've drove in the states lots. I remember driving from Chicago to Minneapolis, bumper to bumper for 10hrs. Driving thru Minneapolis, there was even a Prius driver, woman on the cell phone, in the fast lane which is 75mph, driving 55 mph.I clouded her out pretty good when I passed. I had to..

My drive to Vic, was pretty easy, I can almost do the entire trip without getting out of the drivers seat. I need to stop for fuel. Just don't go to the Island during road working or the summer period. Thats just to crazy insane amount of fun for even me. You have to wait 2-4hrs for road repairs, plus have all the traffic to deal with.

I need a bumper....Can you ones that you can put on a winch? I get stuck in muck, sometimes

Yea I was thinking of getting it line-x when the powdercoating doesn't look so good. Don't got the funds for it right now considering i'm probably looking at $500 just to put lights on it atleast.

Yea it was nothing crazy, but so much worse then driving in edmonton. I hate stopping, I drive straight down without stopping but I have to stop for fuel in lethbridge on the way back. Need to get my slip tank finished so I don't stop at all just wastes to much time. And yea they are made for a winch, think I will eventully get one.

I fill-up at card locks, so its quick stop. I agree, its all the stops that cause the long trips. I have a 20 gallon slip tank, that I have to put into my truck, so I can drive on cheap fuel.

Yea, that's why I ran it low and made it back to lethbridge so only one stop I've got a 35 gallon, but I had a tiny leak on a fitting going into my OEM tank so I had to leave it closed, had it full the whole trip but couldn't use it Plus once I got all my new crap on my mileage is going to suck, going to stop calculating it once the 38's are on
