Anybody going to Sexsmith?

June 23rd, Supreme Diesel's 2nd annual Dyno Day.
It'll be my first time on the rollers, hope to see lots of trucks there.

Hmmmmm. Maybe I will go. All of the dynos I have went to have been Edmonton or further. Its like right next door for me. Wonder if I still have the 399 hp....... A couple of months ago I just rolled over 500,000 kms. truck is just starting to loosen up. Maybe I will make more power now that it is broken in!

What does your 98 dyno at? Or is that the one you were talking about with 399?

You are starting to notice that also...Mine is a 447,000...and it seems to be running better as the miles stack up...Now the problem is maintaining the rest of the truck..

Funny you ask about what one does what. Last time I dynoed my 98 12v it was at 401. Then I got this hairbrained idea that I needed more power. So I took the motor out of the 98 12v and spent about 7-8 thousand and have not put it back together! This project started like 3 years ago!

My 04.5 did 399 with a smarty Jr. Everything else stock. Even a paper air filter and stock exhaust. No gauges......

Still have big plans for the 12v. Just have to finish my intake manifold and finish up porting the intake side of the head. Almost done the porting....

Sounds like itll be a great 12v!
That's a pretty impressive number, 399 with just a jr. I'm hoping for 400 out of my 07. The 12v I'm just taking for kicks but I don't really know what to expect. It feels great now with the 3k gsk but I'm starting to worry about my new clutch...

Might be some members on here that will remember what dyno that was on. Martins in Edmonton. I was pretty surprised by the number myself. Who knows how accurate it is!

Yes Sir,passed on alot 3x3 last year---been waiting for the 4x5 whitetail that hangs around my dads farm quite a bit,trail-cam shows a lot of big deer at night---they don't want to cooperate during hunting season.Hoping for bull moose this year in WMU526,second choice is further north in 525---MRS is really pressuring me to mount a nice bull head above the fireplace for the house. Here's hoping.Cheers DW.

UPDATE:

My 07 put down a best of 484hp/917tq and my 12v made 314/660. Overall this dyno seems a little generous to me but I won't complain.

And then my common rail promptly busted a trac bar joint on the dunvegan bridge. Fun fun, good thing we were traveling with two trucks.

I popped in for a little better than an hour. Seemed like a good turn out. Is there anywhere where all the names/numbers were posted up.

Not that I know of, but they had them all written down on a whiteboard so maybe they'll post it on their website.
