Angle iron

I just found out calgary metal does not sell used iron anymore. They gave me a number for assorted metals which sell only new angle iron.At $3.89 a foot..no thank you....Anyone in Calgary have used 2x2 angle iron or larger, about 3/16 to 1/4 thick, that they would like to sell?....All I need is sixteen two foot lengths...I could cut them to size if needed..

Invincable Steel Sales in Innisfail is pretty good, no minimum to buy and they'll cut it any length you want. Prices were pretty decent to.

I know no one listens to me,but I'm going to whine anyways...Wow has steel gone up....I couldn't find any used stuff at Federal metals ,so I bought from them new angle iron.....2x3 1/4 thick,20 feet long costed me $68....That was yet cheap....not the $3.89 a foot for 2x2 3/16 stuff I was given...a price on at another yard...

Hello Don-long time no see....hope to catch up with you again one of these days. Still with Dresser Rand?

And so I'm not pulling the thread completely off-topic....anybody got an idea where to get aluminum plate without having to mortgage your soul? I would like to make a new tub for my Goertzen aluminum tilt quad trailer so I can get the quad in with the blade on it-would be a good excuse to use my Spoolmatic now that I have a machine to drive it.
