Amazing Indian Summer Weekend

It is supposed to get up to 32C this weekend our here SE of Calgary. I know that most of the rest of the southern part of the province is getting similar weather. What are you all going to do to enjoy it? Personally, my sister, her husband and my two nieces are coming out for a party. They stay the night, so once the kiddies go to sleep, the adults will have drinks on the deck, swap stories and enjoy the evening. The kids are excited because dinner is 'Pub Night'. That means chicken wings, nachos, veggie tray and by special request from the youngest niece - french fries made with spuds we will dig from the garden in an hour or so. It doesn't get much nicer than this in the fall.

I am on the driveway under a truck, fixing an oil pan gasket leak, where it meets the rear main seal holder. At least I am on the north side of the house, and in the shade, or it would be unbearable.

And you guys think you have it rough!

It's 32 degrees right now here at my place in Sundre and my wife and I are cleaning out the barn.

Once the manure is out, it gets loaded into the flower beds for a double warm slap in the head

Anyone up for a DTR chin wag at my place today?

Jeff

That looks nice.

I really want to go riding tomorrow, but alas my own truck doesn't run, so hopefully this will come again still this year.
