Rright on Aaron, let me know. Do you have a set of II twins kicking around? This HTT SS turbo is 5 months old and kicks butt!! I'm curious as to the price difference between your II Twin kit and my HTT SS. Thanks for the help guys. I don't know why I'm sinking more money into the old girl when I'm getting a 06 this spring but what the heck..

I'm going to go look at a wrecked (jack knifed) Freightliner this afternoon, its for sale for parts. its got a Detroit 50 series (I think 50) and the turbo is still on it, so kind of Garrett, and intercooler.

If it's a K31, that would probably make a decent primary. Usually wastegates, so you can tune them up a bit better.

Luke, your torque is low since your twins came on quite late. Torque peaked at 3100 rpm? Need to get those twins spooling quicker. Are you running the 40/3B right now? You might want to look at a larger housing on the primary, you'd get a better pressure differential across the first turbine, and thus more force on it, so it should start sooner. 26cm is fairly common. Of course, this is just my idea, I could be way off base.

If and when I get that quad Adrenaline box that out to get the fuel moving....... now would that drive the twins faster spooling them sooner? I think maybe?

I looked at that truck its a FL century class, cab is definately wrecked, engine is complete still, for sure a Detroit and not a Series 60. So I imagine its a series 50. I couldn't read the tag. I'll need to go back with a flash light and rag and clean it up a little.

anyone actually interested in that turbo or anything off it? I'm not really gonna take anything, but if one of you is I can ask about prices for this stuff.

Do you have a Dragon Fly pump sitting in your shop too? I'll be coming home from Westlock in about a week . . . maybe. This alignment isn't going to quick at this point.

Diesel Dave, how big of sticks you going to run? Mach 4's still. Run the 3b, its cheap and easy install. If you want some thing whizzy, go S400 or Garrett G4288R. If your going to run more fuel and pump, go T-88 or G4588. You thinking about selling your truck? I'm thinking about a new truck to.
Tate, when you ordering your turbo. I'm thinking about buying to new garretts in January? I have to get this tranny to DTT soon, its costing me $$$ to drive a rental. The SRT doesn't go to good in the snow.

Depends on when I get my prices on them. If they are good prices, I'll probably order them ASAP. The sooner I get them, the sooner I can start fabbing.

Tate I will have the dragon fly pump sitting in my shop next week they took their sweet a** time building it and getting it sent out to me. I will have it next week though sorry for the delay on it.

Jamie the twins we have will work on a second gen the only thing is you will have to change the plumbing on it a little bit but other than that they will work perfectly. We are looking to get about 3500.00 out of them. They haven't been run to many times. Let me know if any of your guys are interested and PM me.

Dropped the pan on my tranny, lots of shiny silver pieces, Guess what I get for Christmas? I just want to see how much discount we can get on turbo if we get a big order together. I have four turbos on my list, I was thinking that a couple more might sweeten the pot. I'm thinking beginning new year. DTT told me that they have a new coverter that custom designed for my turbo set-up. Good timing on my part, as my tranny is scrap. Might have a few parts that a worth saving but man its not too many. I must have one heavy foot. Three tranny in 230000 km, its almost as bad as I've gone threw about 4 vp's. Might get a decent pull at next dyno day. So far its been the biggest #'s for a show that I've been at and its in our chapter. Its hard to believe so many shows only win on truck around the 600's area. Anybody heard if that shop will let us try that one again? I would like to see if we can do try that one again in the spring.

I'm going to hook up on the mustang dyno at BDS here in Calgary the very second after I can get the Adrenalin beta box in my truck {I did talk to Justin @ Quadzilla....it really is coming}

.........I can give a play by play on their set up after if anyone wants. they hold a pretty good dyno day/open shop every year in the summer.........we should go and run the top 5 spots from ABDTR Kevin is a good dude too, we could probably inhabit his shop for a day in the early spring sometime.........

The only problem with mustang dynos is for us bigger hp guys getting traction,, unless he has his roller burled really good. When you are there ask him about that.
