Hey Im in E Town now.. went and visited Martin tonight, nice guy, had a beer with him. Im going to be at his shop at around noon to do some work on my truck to get it ready for saturday morning. Going to do some work on his computer in trade for some work.. good deal. Nice shop too,, anyone wants to stop by I think it would be cool

Holmen, got the DDPs in. have not fired it yet. was to late to be rooting around of the street anyways it started snowing now too.

I tell ya, trying to find 5 ply intercooler boots is like hens teeth it seems. but got 1 5 ply 3 ring and 2 - 4 ply 2 ring reinforced boots at Greggs Distributors. was like 140 for all three. trim to fit they should hold the boost now. Gonna set the valves tommorrow and call her good enough.

I might not get it in tommorrow, but at least its here now. I'm keeping my fingers **** crossed that when i fire the old girl tommorrow with those new injectors that the tick knock is gone...........say a little prayer for me fellas.

What size of sticks are you going with Luke?

 

They're mike's set of super huge DDPs custom made....they have a flow rating not a hp rating. So I dunno really. but we'll see really how well they work. and if I can keep the friggin air in my pipes now they should cook pretty dang good I think.

 

that is how my sticks are rated too,,, Ross told me that they cant even figure out a hp rating for them

I think Ill be gunning for the highest HP in the non-wire tapped VP44 24v category, if nothing else.

 

Will be interesting to see what a non-tapped vp is good for.

You running the 40/3b, or the 35/3b?

 

ya for sure.....what am I relying on.......HRVP, Smarty, and giant injectors.....well twins too that helps I guess. see I was still getting 46-47 psi at the head with a 2.5" tear in a boot. 40 / 3B but if the gear really works good together....I'll try and hybrid the 4C into the mix. and reaally kick it in the pants. if it'll spool it with these big injectors, that 4C makes serious air

Ah well, I'm just gonna run the carp out of it on the dyno, just like I do everyday on the street. my tires are gonna suck though i think. maybe I'll bring the burned off A/Ts and swap them on up there.
