well it smokes at idle, but it has always done that since around 70k or so. I got 130 on it now and i dont want to waste the money on tips if i have bad bodies. I can get a snap on scan tool, but i might just set everything back to stock and take it to the dealer.

for sure add them......the more the merrier.

I may not run the rollers. I've developed a very bad heavy knock, and I'm pretty sure I won't see that beta race box in time anyways. I don't want to chuck a rod in edmonton.....If I do that I want to be close to home. I'll dyno at DPS thats 5 minutes from home. I'll come for the show don['t get me wrong but the Dodge will probably stay here. I'll just bring the hutterite wagon.

I am trying to get a friend of mine to dyno his duramax. Its completely stock engine wise but he has about 15000 sunk into accessories to make it look pretty. Wouldn't mind seeing what kind of numbers it puts down. Its a 2007 GMC 2500. Would that be alright???
If not the duramax he said he might bring out his 03 dodge and see what it does.

I'll try to make it even if it menas flying to mac from here in Fort CHipewyan and driving 5 hours to Edmonton.

Still wondering if the outside wheels of a dually will have to come off. Reviewing the dyno specs i see minimum axle width of 29.5". If I add in 26 and 26 for the drum widths i get 81.5 ". Maximum axle width listed is 96".
Just wondering why my numbers don't jive.

I'd be a pain to have to pull off the wheels.

also hoping to maybe have someone bump the timing since it is still stock 13.5* I believe.

I carry my timing kit in my truck wherever I go. Bring it down, and we can time it up. Only extra things we'll need would be some contact cleaner to make sure the shaft is clean.

Anyone know where to get a 4bta for a decent price?

I was by far the fastest diesel truck down there. There was a twin turbo duramax and he was running 7.83 1/8th mile times which is around 12's in the quarter. I have one video I will try to get it on here right away. I am back in th country now and back at work so If you guys need anything you can give me a shout at the shop.

I should be able to make it up there on the Friday I will give you a call and let you know on Friday if I will be there.

I would maybe make a couple runs on the Friday too if I can to see if the smarty box makes more power than than the Bullydog custom I have.

Kevin, I know it is out of your control, but save the blow-up for saturday. It would be kinda depressing to get there saturday morning and you are already blown up! Just kidding.... I hope you have good luck and I get to see some big HP #'s with everything intact. I don't see any reason why I can't get there on Friday afternoon to see some of the pre-dyno-day action.

Guys - I have a Ranch Hand style bumper that is in need of repair (its tweaked a bit). Does anyone have a welder and be willing to help me out?
