Alberta Lost a Diesel friend

fellas just to let you know ALbert Gwynn from Mckynnes in Olds passed away this week in a car accident on highway 1. He alawys treated myself and my dad well and he will be missed. the shop has been closed which is really sad they have told the workers to take there things and move out. Not really sure of all the details of the future of the shop but sad all the way around. He was 59...

From what a gather he was driving back from abbotsford (BD) on the transcanada and the roads where bad he phoned saying he was going to turn around but just after a truck slid into his lane pushing him off the road and off a large drop.. I am not sure the truth to this but it is the story that has been circling so far.

My heart goes out to him and his family. He was really nice guy and a great guy to deal with for whatever you needed. I've bought everything for my truck from him over the past couple years and hes gone outta his way to get me parts I needed on a sunday just so I had a ride to work monday when nobody else could help me out.

We'll miss you Albert, RIP.

He opened his shop up to us on a Saturday for that Dyno Event and was welcoming to all. Sad to hear of this and prayers to his family and friends in this tough time.

He took the BD ball and ran with it after other shops in the south couldn't do it. His shop was sponsoring an event this fall I heard on the radio, gonna have to listen up for it.

Albert RIP.
