Ab Tool Sharing Program

I was thinking we could start a thread and have it stickied of locations of special tools people would be willing to lend out that aren't as easy to rent and too expensive to buy. Be a no-money-exchanged idea, that way there is no problem with the admin saying we're selling/renting. Just on a pay-it-forward kind of principle. I know my tranny jack got a work out last year, and my timing kit has floated around a bit too, so I figured there is probably others who need similar things.

Any thoughts?

List up what you got and how far you'd let it go. Guys like Curtis and Kev in the boonies may as well list what they have, since there are odd members around, or if its needed bad enough, the person would drive to get it. I'd say the onus is on the person borrowing to pick up and return unless other arrangements are made. May as well list if you have special tools you won't lend, but would be willing to help someone out with, such as an diagnostic reader (I know Mr. Hansen has a DRBIII reader) or something else worth too much to lend. We can put it into a single stickied post with the the tools and who to talk to to get them (the owner, obviously).

Alberta wide loan:

Engine hoist - Tate
Tranny jack - Tate

Calgary local service:

Timing kit w/light - Tate

Hey, an Ideal Heated Knife. I almost bought one the other day on E-Bay. They run about $70 USD. If my box cutter siping gets old I'll get in line behind Dr.Evil. I think my Cooper ST/C's are so soft a butter knife will work.
