03 Tranny cooler

Anybody here in AB. that might have a good tranny cooler kicking around.Mine seems to think that it is better to push oil out through it then to circulate it.
Or does anybody know for sure where one can get a better that stock cooler for a good price?

A fiend of mine has 270,000kms on his 04, and he's on his 3rd cooler. his blew on him on Sunday, got it fixed Monday and its in the shop today (thursday) for a new transmission. He seached all edmonton for a Used cooler with no luck, the Mech would not install an after market for him, so he ended up going back to the dealer for another 250$ cooler (dodge lists at over 300$)
If I recall he said Napa had an after market for 100$.
BTW should you ever need a tranny, A&C in winterburn makes a great tranny for a decent price, I've put 80,000kms on mine, its got a trans-go shift kit, and a billet TC, it is used for courior work so it sees lots of abuse. I'm sure Robert at A&C could find you a cooler or aftermarket version that would work for you.

It's hard to find an aftermarket one with the larger 3/8' tubes that ours use. My tranny guy said that there is only 2 on the market that he would use and darned if i can remember them.

I bought a unit from B&M that came with a cooler fan. It had 1/2 npt in/out. B&M also sells a unit that would fit in place of the stocker, but the fan is the way to go. I mounted mine behind the bumper vents/holes. You can hear the fan when you walk in front of the truck. The stocker is restrictive, and if you upgrade go with 1/2 lines.
