I would run F1 flux nozzles if you have the money, probably the best way to make some decent power. Every 5.9L I've seen run those DDP's rattle/chatter to much for me. You guys should see my truck. I had my truck broken into recently, the rear quarter of the bed is all dented up, my tunnel cover is bent-up and twisted. The tool box was ripped open. Last week we had a wind storm, and my neighbor fence blew over nailing my front driver side fender. Nearly brand new truck, with more dents and scratches that I care to omit. Man black shows dents and scratches. My bed also has a few dents in the floor.

Funny thing is the truck hasn't even been driven in two months. I wouldn't even sweat that one to much. Touch up paint would be enough to fix it. My next truck is going to be white, black shows dents way way to easy.

Dang Mike. I hate to hear that. Yeah they are just vehicles, and when it comes down to it, but short of my kids and wife, my truck is my pride and joy.

The manual trans does nothing to slow my wife down in driving my truck. She drives her car because she doesn't like having to park mine. And they are just trucks. Try not to lose prespective of that. I would tell her your sorry if you haven't already.

Dang buddy, sorry to hear that. I would probably be a little more upset if someone else did it.

Can anyone speak from experience with painting a set of extended bushwackers? Do they tend to flake? I might just go that route.

Sorry to hear about your "loss"...

If it makes you feel a tad bit better, I barely had around 5K miles on mine when I did this...in a dark parking lot...at a Texas Mall...if it wasn't for my sister screaming, the damage probably would have been worse, but it was pretty extensive considering I was going only about 10mph, when I smacked a Texas sized light pole. Everything seems to be made out of composite material nowadays.

I feel your pain though, I was pretty upset, had my wife been driving it when it happened, I would have been more upset, but as others have said, its a truck and it will get scratched, dinged and dented eventually, we just have to try our best to fix the scratches and when on metal before the rust shows its face.

Just get some Mopar touch-up paint and call it good--unless you go the bushwacker route...in which case, I have no experience, but if you paint it yourself, I have heard the paint made for plastic works good...haven't tried it though.

Not trying to hijack your thread, just wanting to show it could have been worse...

I understand what's being conveyed when you guys say, "It's just a truck", and I agree that a relationship or friendship shouldn't be put in danger because of a dent or scratch. But for what they're getting for these things now, I don't think it's 'just a truck'! I paid less than the cost of a new truck 10 years ago on 40 acres of land in Maine!

I would keep my mouth shut to the wifey on the dent, it won't be too long from now when you will mess up and need a marker. You can tell her " so I tracked mud all over the house, at least I didn't wreck the truck" and you would have at least one day less of "yellage" .

Well as long as we are showing the little things that smart...

This was my baby, only three months old. Beaten by a stray BOULDER from a dumptruck on Interstate 10. Couldnt turn around to get to them. The dang rock crossed the median for crying out loud.

Cost me 300 bones to get the hood repainted.

This is the front six inches of the hood, dead even with the crosshairs.

Ouch, this isn't turning out good thread for anybody. Mines pretty minor cosmetic body damage.

I'm ok with the damage on my truck, most of my miles have been paid work miles, so my truck is almost paid for now. All part of the job these days. I have decent insurance, just don't have time to get the truck in for a fresh paint job these days. My truck was broken into last year and two months ago. Just waiting till the bill is big enough to get the truck repainted. I think my 02 has been broken into a dozen or so times. Most of the times they just steal crap, like nickles and dimes. Just leave the truck in one piece. My 2010 they stole most of my tools out the tool box and I needed them for a job the next day. Had to run down the store and buy the store out, so I can get back to work. The joys of self-unemployment.

Your pics are much appreciated and actually make me feel a whole lot better. I don't feel like the only guy getting beat on.

I still wonder if the Bushwacker flares hold up to paint? I had a buddy who got his fender flares painted and all they did was peel.

Maybe I can send some Bushwackers and get them painted by Dodge? Then they would hold up.

You guys should see the inside of my bed...both fenders nearly flat.

Other than the tailgate, nothing on the outside short of a 1" scratch.

Darn employees

Shoot, I'm driving around right now with a quarter size hole in my hood.

Hoping my hood scoop will be ready to install next week.

I had an 88 GMC dually parked in the yard out off the way and my wife backed her escort right into it. Why was she in the yard?????? Wasn't the truck big enough????? The story as to how it happened is too stupid to repeat on the internet. Worse than kids.

Yep, New2Diesel, it probably would have been easier to accept if you had been the first to do some damage. lol Within months of having my MC I was backing into a space at work and gouged the right rear fender..... thankfully, white is easy to match.
