Washer fluid sensor

My '11 gives me very little warning before running out of washer fluid. My old truck (and other vehicles) all have ample fluid left once the dashlight comes on, giving me plenty of time to top-up. This truck however, only gives me 2 or 3 more sprays at most before running out.

Anyone else notice this? It's quite annoying...

I top up washer fluid every time I open the hoods so don't usually see the low warnings, if you find you are running out quickly there is an extended warranty for the washer reservoir due to them cracking and leaking, might be something to look at.

My 2011 wasn't like that. Are you sure it's not leaking? There's a recall or something on that. They extended the warranty on the reservoir.

Hmm, I'll look into that.
I haven't seen any evidence of leaks, but I'll get under and have a look. Where does it crack?
