Suspension 411

I'm going cosmetic and suspension before I do the deletes (only 6k on the new rig), so I looking for advice on suspension options. Here's what I know I do want: 6 inch with 37's. Now my options: BDS 6" long arm, Pure Performance 6.0 long arm, Carli 6" Backcountry. Pricing is from $2k to $3k range. Would a long arm kit have more travel than the short arm Carli kit? If its similar, I'd probably go Carli because I'm assuming the road ride would be so much better from all I've heard.

So the cheaper kits, BDS and PP would ride better (on/off road) than the high end Carli purely from being a long arm? If so, thats a win/win for me. What about wheel travel for each type? I assumed the shocks and spring rates are the biggest contributer to ride is why I'd thought the Carli would ride so much better on/off road.

Thanks Chris

carli does have a progressive spring which is a MAJOR factor. combo of long arm with a progressive spring is a grand slam.

Defintely Carli. He researches his products extensively and provides after sale support.
