Reunel aftermarket bumper & winch

It took a couple months to get it built, but I finally got the payoff. Reunel front winch bumper and Warn PowerPlant winch. It dropped the front end 3/4", so now I can plan my level and tires. Still thinking 285/75s on the stock wheels unless I find a buyer for the stock stuff. I have a set of takeoff white Laramie fender flares on the way... Paint 'em? White grille?

What y'all think?

Nice bumper.. Nice looking truck.. If it was me.. White grill.. black fender flairs and get a rear bumper black, black nerf bars.. with some nice rubber.. a 2 inch level kit. That machine would look fantastic..

Thanks GG. I have the black rear Reunel on there already, love the built-in 20k hitch with 6k tongue rating (obviously the truck would fail with that tongue weight, but the bumper is built for it). I'll get the white Laramie flares on it and see what I think. I'm still leaning towards black Line-x bumpers, flares and lower body...

Thanks, it is incredibly stout! Right now I plan to level with Thuren's 3" springs and add some Bilsteins all the way around. Maybe add the mini packs in the back with air bags for load leveling and to get the right rake. I don't wheel the truck, just some dirt, gravel and sand areas occasionally. I'd like to go with 295/75-18 on 18x9 wheels, but I need to sell the stocker stuff or just use 285/75-17s.

I would be supprised if you can't fit 305/70/17s with a leveling kit. It took a 2 inch level kit to fit them on my 04cummins..

That looks great! I don't want to run anything wider than a 285 or maybe a 295 on the stock 8" wheels. While that combo works well off-road and helps protect the wheels, I've found that wide tires on narrow-ish wheels gives way too much sidewall sway for my liking. Towing was even worse! The problem is with that huge bumper I think it needs bigger tires to look right! Dang, I may have to go to the 295-18s on new 18x9 wheels. That would just break my heart! Anone want to buy some stock alloys?

Reunel makes some awesome stuff.

Would love one of their stainless bumpers, but they are pricey.

I'd consider a Lorenz 23% stiffer coil that'll yield a 2" lift with all that weight.

I used Don's coils for awhile but they were a bit soft with my constant camper load. I'm hanging on to them though as the camper's a short timer. They yield a superb ride, just a little too much body lean in the front for my tastes.

Without the leverage of a camper though,Don's just might work. You never know until you run them. He's a good guy.

I had Don's steering and track bar on my 2nd gen. LOVED it. Superb ride sounds great, I rarely have much of a load on the truck. I figure Don says his springs are 2.875" on crew cab, so I should see 2-2.25 on mine with the big bumper. Probably just some good Bilstein 5100s to top it off. Sound close? No rush, I don't mind doing one thing (like a winch/bumper) and adjusting my plans as necessary.

Unless you're considering a slide-in camper in the future, you should be fine. I got a deal on some KORE VR's which work well with my camper, but are way too stiff unladen.

Don's finally updating his website,so it should be more complete soon.
