I'm starting to think about upgrading from my 08 mega to a new/er 3500 mega. Death wobble, long camping trip planned in summer and dodge not having recall parts are all playing part.

I have kids and would like the rear entertainment like we have now, but all the listings on line say nothing about rear dvd or entertainment. Dodge website was vague as well.

So is this option now not popular or is there a new catch phrase that means it plays movies and entertainment and has screens for the back seat? It sure says lots on the navigation screen size and backup camera.

Odd thing is Ford and Chevy also seam to be missing this option as well. Am I missing something? Would not be surprised.

 

Not too sure if it's B/S or not but when I bought my 2012, I told the salesman I too wanted the rear entertainment system for my 4 yr old (2 at the time) and was told that because the aftermarket systems are getting so much better not a lot of dealers order trucks with them anymore.

In the end, I told him the sale was dependant on it as I was not going to travel with an un-entertained kid. When all was said and done he threw in 2 iPads that I could either let him hold or buy an aftermarket bracket for the seat. It actually worked out way better as I can take it into a restaurant if I want to as well!!!!
