Questions on leveling kit?

Hey fellas,
I just picked up my 11' 2500 mega cab 4x4. What are you guys using for your leveling kits? My last truck I used new coil springs and I think I want to go that route again. I know spacers are cheaper but I want it to be done the best way possible. Also the shop I'm having do it claims they can't find any coil springs to use in the new truck. Budget really isn't an issue, i just want it done the best way possible. What do you guys recommend for the best leveling kit? Thanks

I am going with Don Thurens front springs, adjustable track bar, his bump stops and bilstein 5100 shocks for mine. Been emailing him these last few days. get taxes back next week and going to pull the trigger on the goods

There is probably 7 different brands of coil spacers for 2010-2011 3500. Does not sound like your going that route anyways.

I checked out both thuren and carli. That looks like the best way to go. I do tow everyday and thought the extra 3in would make the rear sag a little too much but I went and measured with the trailer attached and it should be fine. Do you think the trac bar is a necessity? I just want it done right, the truck gets used everyday, not super abused but enough.

I am doing the trackbar and then getting a 4 wheel thrust alignment to make sure the axle is in its correct location. you lift the front without doing an adjustable track bar and the axle will not be in the correct location. I am sure there will be some that argue this but my personal feelings are why take the chance. I didn't spend this kind of money to not do it right and then have the issue of death wobble.

I agree. What's a 4wheel thrust alignment? What about the sway bar drop bracket I hear about? Also what about a new steering stabilizer set up? I had the superlift dual on my last truck but was thinkin about the single fox one.

i have been talking to Thuren a lot the last few days and he is telling me that the 10-11 trucks have long enough links on the sway bar and extended links are not needed. here is what I am going with

thuren 3" front springs
thuren adj track bar
bilstein shocks (til i can afford the fox remote res shocks as thuren sells them for a leveled truck)

thrust alignment ensures the rear and the front are correct. Not much to do to the rear but I want it checked to make sure it is 100% correct. There is a shop here in town that does WONDERS to trucks (action alignment) and Danny gets booked up by 9am for the DAY. He is not cheap but everyone I talk to say their truck had NEVER tracked & steered better than after Danny got a hold of it.
