Question about cab lights

I would like to have the cab lights installed like the 3500's have. The factory ones are rediculously expensive. Anybody running aftermarket brands that they are happy with? Any that you would say to stay away from? Thanks.

i had RECON on my last megacab. it did not have lights so I had to drill etc. I made my own harness. Cut the RECON silly plug off and hard wired (soldered and heat shrink). USE SILICONE on the holes, even if removing the factory ones and re-installing. an ounce of prevention.......

Mine NEVER leaked (over 4 years installed, zero failures, zero leaks, zero issues)

The factory lights aren't that bad here.. But I think you still need the harness.

harness is EASY to make. on the right A pillar, there is a plug that is at the base near the dash. test light the harness and find the power with headlights on and there ya go.

Sheesh! They're expensive after the fact! I'm glad I included them in my order

If your truck doesn't have any, how do you measure out where they go? Is there a template you can place on the cab to figure out where to drill? Cause I'm liking those Recons in smoke.
