An advantage is there is no airbag in that position that needs to be deactivated, but the back is still safer for kids regardless.

My salesman just called and said they finally have prices in the ordering system for the 2013's. I'm going to go in there later and try to actually order a truck!

Do what I did. Find it online at a dealer that is hurting and then print out all the information. Then go to your local dealer and tell them you want dealer trade for the one you found.
That is how I got a good deal on a truck most recent and in the past. If they are sticky then offer them a couple of bones for transporting it back to your location.
2012's are still out there in all different configurations and the incentives are not bad either, I got my 2012 for close to what I paid for my 2006 back in the day, same trim level.
