Is this normal for my new HD?

My 10' blows cool air within 15-20 seconds of start up and stays COLD when driving (This was last summer, currently deplyoed). As stated above, I also bump up the idle when parked and it stays cool. However, I normally drive my 12v during the summer. Always ICE COLD moving or not.

i am having the same issues. Compressor kicks out at idle and wont engage. Blows hot air all of the time. Dealer says fan is OK but i did not pay over 50000 for a truck that blows hot air. I will continue to take it back untill its fixed. They are checking it out now to see if it is something different. Its having the turbo replaced at the moment at 925 miles. Not happy so far.

It's been 100+ for months now; but my new rig blows warm/hot AC air when I first start the truck and I'm not moving. Once I start moving it cools down pretty good and cools fine on longer trips. Is this normal for the new Rams? I wouldn't think it should be, and I've never had an issue like this before; even though this system cools much better than the 06 in terms of cooling and volume. Could it be under/over charged?

Who's your dealer? I'm in Alvarado and about to order a 2011 Laramie Longhorn. I might want to avoid folks who can't figure out a fairly simple AC problem.

I'm no Expert
I haven't tested this, but I have heard that R12 and R34 (and probably some others) will burn much like propane. If that's true, propane is probably no more dangerous than what we've been using for 50+ years.

Just following up. Reving the RPMs does help draw air in to help cool, but just a little. But, are we talking about something to be taken into the dealer that can be fixed, or is this an aftermarket upgrade (like a new bigger better fan) that's needed? Not too happy about all the heat at idle. It's definitely not just hot dash air, its always hot until I get moving. Haven't checked the charge level; but I'm only at 4k miles. Still waiting for a cure.
