I hear what you're saying about Dodge's site showing flame red, but I'm pretty sure it is incorrect. As far as I can tell, flame red is only available on 1500's. I've looked at everyone's inventory locally online, and flame red can not be found on anything but 1/2 tons.

Yeah, I just edited my post to include the info on "build your own". Hard to believe they don't offer a bright red color for the HD's. It's a pretty popular color.

I just got finished talking to Marty at Dave Smith Motors in Idaho and he confirmed with me that Bright Red/Flame Red is no longer available on the Ram HD. Electric Blue is also no longer available as well.

I don't want to lead you on but it says Job 1 on 3/15/10 for flame red. Job 1 is the first run for that model year so flame Red job 1 on 3/15/10 means flame red trucks will start being produced on 3/15/10 for the 2010 model year. However, what I posted is not detailed enough to specify what Ram models will get flame red.

DirtEater, I received my new issue of Truck Trend Magazine today and on the cover is a Crew Cab Ram 2500 Cummins and it looks like the truck is painted Flame Red.

I stared at the picture for awhile and I guess it could be Inferno Red. The way they doctor photo's nowadays it's tough to tell. Anyway, I wish you the best.
