New Tires? Toyo 285/75/17
I just ordered some new Toyo AT 285/75/R17 E tires that will be put on in a couple days. Will these fit my stock 2010? Anyone have pics of their truck running these tires?

98ramtough ...... let me know how you make out. I have been trying for a while to find out exactly what will fit on my 2010 2500 4x4 stock truck. A few people had said what they think will work but I don't have the money to be a science project, I'm looking for someone who has been there and knows for sure what will fit. Please let me know what you find out and how you make out.
Thanks

Definitely post up some pics and your impressions. I am not sure whether to go with the 70-series or 75-series tires inthe 285s when I add some more meat. There's a lot of 285/70s (32.7" tall) in the picture threads, but I haven't seen anyone specify they are running the 285/75s (33.8" tall). A little more height will fill the wheelwell better as long as they don't rub AT ALL !!

Thanks. I have done quite a few searches but have not came up with anyone running a 4th gen truck with this tire size. Hence the post in the 4th gen forum. Your truck looks great with those tires. I will post up some pics after I get the tires installed.

There's a lot of us running larger diameter tires with wider treads - I have 34 inch diameters but have a 2 inch leveling kit up front to make sure they don't rub AT ALL. (and they don't - trust me) Do a thread search and see all the posts...

I'm not criticizing anyone, I'm just saying that a lot of signatures and posts mention running 285s. With both a 285/70 and a 285/75 it'd be nice to get some clarification. My first thought still goes to a 285-75-16, but I jumped from 10 years in the 2nd gen world straight to the 4th gen...
BTW, ramtradxb I LOVE the stance of your truck!

Altho it's long shot since the wheels might be rated for less carrying capacity - I see the new Ram R/T's have 22 inch wheels from the factory with some nice rubber to boot - I wonder if they'd look good on a 2500...?

What color was your 06? Do any dyno days around Sac? I was at a few of them with my 01 over the last 10 years.
Aren't the R/Ts a 1/2-ton truck? They'd be 5 lugs if they are...

285/75/17 Toyo A/T's will fit with no rubbing at all. I had them on for about 6 months before I wanted bigger, so now I have a level kit and 305/70/17 Nitto Terra's on Hummer take-offs with no rubbing at all.

thanks arcojet. those don't look like hummer wheels in the pic, so that must be the 285/75s. looks real good. do you happen to know the size and backspace (or offset) of those wheels? looks like they fit under the Laramie flares perfectly.
