Question LED lights in mirror out already

The little blue LED lights under my mirror quit working already. I popped the lights out and saw that corrosion had built up on the tiny circuit board. I went to a coworkers truck that is only 2 months old and put his light in my truck and it worked for both sides.
Funny thing, his light was already showing signs of corrosion.
I figure these are dealer items and will probably be $$. Anyone have issues yet? prices?

Also on the drivers side mirror the LED blinker quit working as well. I still haven't figured out how to remove them. I could use some help if any one has some information and prices.

I have 20k miles. Dealer said 12 months or 12k miles warranty on lights. I can not find it in my warranty book.

Called a few parts departments and they cant find part #. One guy said they were built in to mirror. I said "I have it in my hand now." He said well ,I cant help you.

They both have #s on them 48381 LH and 48382 RH, but no one can find them.

I'm thinkin your location had a lot to do with it but these things should have a better seal than to allow failure that quick.

1 of mine went out. took it to dealer and he said gotta get a whole new mirror and would warranty it. IMO if the LED's are built into the mirror and they go bad, it is a defective mirror and they should replace the whole thing. argue a bit and you should get your way. $600 or so for a mirror. Nice to know they can be pulled out to replace later if needed. got any pics of it removed?

I spent about an hour at the parts department today. They said it was showing as part of the mirror. They pop out in a second and they have tabs to hold them in. A friend actually gave me his because he said he didn't like them. Score for me! I slathered the new ones up with dielectric grease.
They do show the blinker LED. Ordered the right one for $44
On a side note, scheduled to replace my noisy power steering pump.

Djcheez send me a cell phone number and I will text some pix.
