I need Steps, Nerf Bars, platforms?

I want to get a set of steps or bars to make it easier for the wife unit to enter and exit the truck. I prefer a heavier build bar, step etc.

I have read and searched until I am tired.

What do you have that you are happy with?

I got the OEM tubular chrome (stainless?) bar that comes with the Laramie, I like em, they worked fine for my application (wife wanted it) and they appear to be really sturdy, no complaints. The only thing I would have possibly changed is maybe if they would be extending outward sideways a tiny bit more they may have been perfect then. I have to look where the bar is to actually step on it when I get down otherwise it did happen a few times only, that i wasn't on the center enough and slipped. That would be my only negative point on them but its really not a big deal at all, its more like i had older trucks were the bar was way more extending than that, including my TJ jeep which made it a lot easier on the jeep etc. but I still really like those bars and I'm an old school chrome guy, so to me i had to have the chromed ones...

One thing I forgot to add, if i could have gotten the long ones that go to the rear wheels it would have been perfect too, cause it happanes often I need to go to grab something in the cab near the rear window and I am missing that portion because i got a dually, so I'd try to find one thats "Wheel to Wheel" that way you won't have to spend later for an additional step that will look odd at the back of the bar.

These are frontiers. So far I really like them. Had them line-x'd and they work awesome.

I might add that if you do a lot of gravel roads then the line-X will be gone very soon, the same with chrome plate so either stainless bars or aluminum boards but the boards will hang up and get stuck in the snow or mud.
