5500 vs 5200 Front GAWR

What is added to get the extra 300lbs?

A new 1555 series u-joint and the larger yolk assembly to go with it. Not sure of anything else. They did this to decrease the turning radius and increase the GAWR.

I wonder if its easily adaptable to the 03-09's?
