2011 Ram 3500 Dually Parking Brake
2011 Ram 3500 Dually Parking Brake
I am trying to adjust the parking brake as it is not holding even on slight inclines. I have read old postings, the service manual and I am still a little unsure about which way to turn the "stars".
The port for the driver side star is at 12 0'clock , the port for the passenger side star is at 6 o'clock, I believe I read somewhere that they go in opposite directions to tighten the brake adjustment.
Is this correct? Does the driver side star turn upward ( away from the ground ) to tighten and does the passenger side star turn toward the ground to tighten?
Thanks for the help.
