Wheel tech

I got my new Method (17x8.5 Omm offset & 4.75 back space) wheels mounted on 35x12.5 TGs yesterday. They push the wheels out an inch or so and the test fit (front driver side) rubbed a little on the back of the fender well lower edge. I'm holding off on my lift kit and 37's for a while and just going with a leveling kit for now. HellBents web site says there is no clearance difference between the 2.0 and 2.5 spacers, and I want to stay as low as needed only (and I like a little rake, not leveled). I'm going to order the HBS 2.0" spacers, but will they be enough to clear the new treads? How much clearance will I gain from the spacers?

Gus, read my thread with exact measurements that I had from the HBS kit. I have the HBS 2.5" and one inch rear lift blocks from Top Gunz Customs. My truck sits 100% level and clears 35" tires on stock wheels by a mile!!! I could easily fit 20" wheels and 37" tires without rubbing. I have inches in every direction of clearance.

If you use an HBS kit, you WILL WILL WILL definitely need the sway bar drop bracket and the steering stabilizer. When I installed just the leveling kit my bushings were tweaked to the max. I drove my truck ZERO miles without the drop bracket and steering stabilizer.

I also have detailed photos of my complete install on this forum if you wanna see what it looks like. Please take my advice, you will be very satisfied.

If you go without lift blocks, the rear will sag by exactly .75-1.0"

N2D, I'll look up the write up on the install. I'll check into the sway bar drop bracket too; and I've got a steering brace in the box waiting already. I'll holler with any questions when I get my parts list together. Thanks.

And does anyone know if the 2.0 spacer will work my my new wheel specs for total clearance?
