Just order a Smarty Jr with ME file and delete pipe for my 2012 anyone s got issue instaling this on a 2012 with the HO motor. and what kind of millage gain should I expect from this .

People are having NOTHING but problems the JR on '12's. I would wait until they sort out the bugs before you delete your truck. Do a search on CF and you'll see the issues, there is a big thread over there about his exact issue

CF=cumminsforum.com. There is some issue with either fueling, turbo or both with the '12 trucks. MADs is working on it with a beta tune but it still is having issues. My buddy has one on his '12 non-deleted and is having the same issues, it falls on it's face between 2000-2500 rpm. Like I said before, it's in your best interest to wait until it's all dialed in before you delete your truck

I have it, contact Smarty people and they will email you the latest beta file that works. I had to contact them directly to get mine to work. They will walk you through the new software download for your pc/laptop and how to get it on your Smarty Jr.

I'm still hearing issues even with the new "L" beta tune

At least its not throwing codes and the truck gets out of its own way, mine still feel like it is doing some kind of regen at times since the mpg's just drops and it feels a bit sluggish then.

I was curious about this 2012 thing when i got my smarty junior. The guys that sold it to me said that there are actually a couple different pieces of software for a 4th gen truck. They tell me that any truck built prior to 6th month of 2011 uses one and second half of 2011 and 2012 use another. Not sure if i am helping here or just adding confusion, but could this be a software version problem?

I just did mine last weekend, seems to run o.k. just running on #1 economy mode.

Mileage via computer seems to be better, takin a trip this weekend so that will tell the tale?

Can you keep me post I just receive my smarty with the ME file and I am planning to do the delete next week end I am just a little affraid as I hear some peaple still aving truck giving some code and little issue even the store where I purchase told me that on some 2012 it won t even work and if mine is in that category he was gonna take the smarty back .

The difference is the early '11 trucks are S.O. and 11.5-12 are H.O. trucks. There are many different tunes available for each truck. The 12's are the trucks having the issues.

So mine is a HO truck I might have issue even with the ME files in it

Any issues known with Manual Trans trucks? Mine is not an HO for that reason... Curious to see what happens.
