What are most of you doing with the power wire? Drilling small hole through box., from underneath, or just putting the lid down on top of wire??? Also, the instructions say nothing of it, but obviously the other wire is a ground. Y'all running it to the chassis just somewhere near fuse box??

 

I drilled a small cut-out in the fusebox and tied into the H&S recommended location. This will allow the wire to go into the fuse box without closing down on it.

 

Gotcha. What about the ground?

 

I used on of the grounds not too far away. I believe it was pre-existing but I am not sure. I will go check and then confirm.

 

Same here. Small slot on edge of lid and a little calk.

 

yep, exactly what i did and it ended up with a nice clean and hidden look. I used that ground that is right on the fender adjacent from the fuse box.
