installed gauges 2011

Thought I would post a picture of my 2011 Pricol gauges installed. Thanks to DieselManor for custom ordering matching black with chrome bezels. Looks like a factory install! Sorry for the quality of the pics but you get the idea.

Top Gauge = Pyrometer, reads Exhaust Gas Temperature

Middle Gauge = Boost Pressure

Bottom Gauge = Fuel Pressure

How does the gauge mount match up to the factory plastic?

I been using the H&S blackmaxx for gauges. Been curious on how acturate they are. I have autometer gauges on my 02 truck. Been trying to figure out a way to install a fuel pressure gauge without using a pillar pod. I find that they block your vision at times.

The gauges look great. But I'll never use them again.... I was so fixated with those things I forgot to enjoy my old truck lol. I do miss watching the pryo to know when to shut the truck down.

Just got back in from the truck and noticed you have to remove the grab bar to install these. I use that handle a bunch so I will need to look at other options.

Grab the steering wheel instead.

i remember somewhere in my foggy memory about the early days of my 2001... the steering column is not that stout and a lot of guys suspected using the steering whel as a handle caused problems.

Well I can tell you this much, I was 365lbs not all that long ago and I didnt use the grab handle when it was there, just right hand on the steering wheel and left hand on the door handle, hop in and go. Never had issues with the mega....

I hear ya! My old MEGA had a 6" lift and the handle was too high to grab, so I always grabbed the steering wheel, never had an issue. BUT, I do use it now and like to use it if I have to clear a bit of ice, snow or just clean the windshield fully....at 5'11" I still need to get up on something to reach the top center of the windshield. It's all good and I think the gauges look sweet. If i may add a suggestion, I would add a custom button/screw cover to hide the phillips screws if I did use them.

Blake, They are a Pricol Ev2 guage, needed to order the bezel custom as the chrome only came with white face gauges. Was a two week lead time and $10 upcharge per gauge which I thought was very reasonable. The plastic is a perfect fit and honestly looks like a factory installation with the exception of the screw. I honestly dont know what color they light up yet because NO ONE seems to know which wires to tap into, so I havent actually hooked them up yet . Got everything from Dave at DieselManor
