just use a small screwdriver and start at one end and work it up. you should leave it in, throw the afe junk in the trash and put your stock back in. the silencer ring along with the baffle in the tube reduces side shear in the compressor side of the turbo raising turbo efficiency. the afe filter is poor and the air is expanded more with the afe further reducing efficiency. glad to see the deletes and exhaust, your truck will benefit.

ok, thanks guys. that looks a little more intensive than i thought. I think im gonna pass on this mod. but thanks again for the great info!
