With the sway bar drop bracket, be sure to install it correctly. Look at my pics to see the alignment with the frame, they can go on backwards.

Anyway, I bet it has minimal to no rubbing.

 

alignment was fine after install.the steering wheel was off a little.did not use spring compressor.

 

Thanks for the offer. My neighbor has offered to help me so I'll probably take him up in that. He claims the components of his new jeep are identical to that on my Ram except smaller and he has removed and replaced his springs several times to lift his jeep.

I guess what remains to be seen is whether or not I need a spring compressor. Some people say they do and others say they don't. For what it's worth, my truck has the snow plow prep package (not sure why since I'm in Texas). I don't know what (if any) affect that has on the front suspension.
