Heard that a few local trucks got dusted engines from aftermarket intakes. So be carefull on what you buy.

I'm running stock intake on both of my trucks. Every aftermarket CAI I had, my turbo impeller/compressor housing got dirty. Even my intake plenum on the head had an oil film.

It shouldn't if you run the standard tuning, not the ME tuning

Mine is on! No problemo. Runs great, looks like she is gonna get about 20 HWY on flat ground with minimal wind.
Much better throttle response.
The only problem I had was the exhaust clamp did not want to tighten enough when I put the delete pipe in. I had to improvise.

How fast were you going to get the 20 mpg? Also, were you using the cruise or peddling?

69 MPH flat ground, no wind, looks to be right at 20 MPG.
Just drove up and picked up 3 tons of feed on a 25' Float, wind blowing 20 MPH at 90 degrees, got 13.9.
