My smarty will turn off my egr. Will this be ok for a few years and 65,000 miles or should I do a complete delete.

 

It is my understanding that if you run an ME program IE turning off your egr with out deleting your DPF the DPF will fill up very quickly causing you to have trouble. You can not disable the EGR without getting rid of the DPF.

 

I will remove the dpf. What I was asking is a complete egr delete any better than the smarty egr? Any one better or do they have the same lasting results?

 

Same. The smarty will disable the EGR no need to take it completely off unless you just want to.
