Different EGR question

Alot of people have unplugged the egr with great results. My question is concerning the "you lose power comments". Has anyone uplugged the egr at the track to test the difference in 1/4 mile times. This would tell you definately if you lose power.

Please share your experience..

Thanks

Mine will do the same thing, If the egr is unplugged and I use the high idle, the throttle light will come on and itll will start stumbling and when you let off the accelerator sounds funny when "decelerating".

No clue why, but to get it to act right, I have to plug in the egr and run it for a while and then I can unplug it again.

I have the cross over tube pluged on mine and leave the egr pluged in so I don't get any codes from it. As to stock power on a dyno I saw 3hp more with the egr unpluged even though the crossover was pluged. My truck is a Chassis Cab so it probably won't be the same for the regular pickups.

Tree DR,
I have been told that just pluging the cross over tube will throw a code. because of the test for different pressure.
How did you plug it?

Thanks
