Dissapointing Power 6.7 vs my old 5.9 what can i do
I Just came back from holidays in NewBrunswick Canada and it was the first time i pulled my 14000 pound toy hauler for 1800 miles with my new 2011 LongHorn 2500 Cummings (ive got 10,000 miles on the clicker so far), i was very dissapointed in its pulling power, i could not even keep 60mph going up steep inclines where my 2007 5.9 was able to accelerate and overpass trucks in the exact same hills last year at the same period with the same toyhauler.. with the same toys! i love everything else of this truck but i don t know where the power Dodge says it has actualy goes but for sure its not at the wheels???
What can i do, what do others do!!!, oh yeah.. its also alot harder on fuel when im pulling heavy compared to my old 2007 5.9, about 20% more.

Only thing you can do to get more power is to do the deletes and get a programmer. You can still get a programmer and keep all your emissions releted stuff if your worried about your warranty. If not to worried about the warranty go full delete and programmer and you will have a new beast on your hands.
When I first towed with the new truck. I didn't like the way the suspension was acting. But power wise in the stock form it did a great job as compared to my 04.5( 04 had Smarty Jr, afe intake and Banks exhaust). I've never towed anything as heavy os you. But from the way my 04.5 handled my 11K trailer (did a better job with the mods) but even though I would have never attempted a 14K trailer....
You need to pull with it a couple more times and it should come to life. I hope you have 4.10 gears, it not, this is your problem.

I did the deletes right away. I am getting 1.5 to 2 mpg better then what my 06 got.
Maybe it has the 3.42 gear and your 5.9 had 4.10 gears.
Stock vs Stock the new ones have a little more power and a better transmission. Besides the motor and transmission they basically are the same with different body work.
As far as what to do, I'd do the deletes and mild programming.
