Is it really that much better? I'm picking up a new '12 laramie tomorrow and I've been wondering if i should let the dealership do the deletes before I even pick it up. What are the major benefits?

From what I've seen, in only 3 weeks, the response time is better, lower temps, and it is nice to have an extra 170 hp under the hood if I want to use it. I am still quantifying my fuel economy increases and in the coming months hope to have a spreadsheet outlining % increase based on driving style and power level. As a lot of people have said it's a totally different truck before versus after the deletes.

I'd be surprised if you can find a dealership anywhere in the country that will do the deletes for you. It's slightly illegal to delete federally required emissions equipment.

But yes, it's worth it. The increased fuel mileage alone is worth it.

Yeah.. I don't know how that works but they've offered to do it. Apparently, there's a waiver of some sort involved, I'd be reading the fine print for sure, especially regarding warranty but the parts girl is a friend of mine and she says they keep the kits in stock. I'm in Canada, that probably has something to do with it, no emissions testing, not yet anyway.

In that case, if the dealership will do the deletes for you and not void your warranty then I'd be all over it (assuming the price is reasonable). It's definitely worth it.
