Cranking up the XRT Pro
Cranking up the XRT Pro
I have the delete pipe in place and an H&S XRT pro tuner.
I ran it on stock power for a few weeks, then, the 60 hp setting since (4 months)
Thinking about taking it up a level and also installing the tranny tune.
I DO NOT want guages and don't tow more than 10,000 lbs.
Am I asking for trouble???
Thanks guys.....

I ran mine on mild for a few weeks, then wild and finally hot. I ended up switching back to mild because I felt like I was doing damage with wild and hot. Oddly enough, my truck will spin the tires harder and longer on mild than it would on wild or hot. It would blow a lot of black smoke on hot but mild seems to have more seat of the pants feel. Makes me think maybe the tranny was slipping on hot.
I definitely recommend the transmission tune. I wasn't sold on it at first but now I really like it. Nice, firm shifts.
