DELETE 2012 Shopping List??

Might be a dumb question...

I was wondering if somebody could give me a full shopping list of all parts needed to do the deletes right from H&S or other? (RIGHt: not the pin style or turbos, fuel rails, just the overall delete package, down tubes, intakes, exhaust, etc)...Pretend money was no object

Anybody know of package deals?

If you go H&S then you need the programmer preferably with pyro/egt, I think the mini maxx with egt and H&S transmission tune if you have an auto trans. If you use H&S Maxx flow intake you had better get their boost tube as well because their boot that comes with it doesn't fit the factory boost tube. For the factory boost tube you need 3 1/2 to 4 inches instead of the 3 to 4 inch that comes with it. The 3 to 4 inch boot can be used with their boost tube to the inter cooler. Also if you use the maxx flow intake you only need a egr cooler delete kit as the new intake takes care of the egr and throttle valve. You need a DPF delete pipe. Some replace the complete exhaust and some the down pipe and the DPF delete pipe but it's easier and quieter if only the DPF pipe is replaced. You can get kits to seal all the electrical plugs but tape works.

Mini max with egt and possibly their transmission tune. $950 or 1250
egr cooler delete kit. $75
Maxx flow intake and boost tube. $300 +$100
DPF delete pipe. $250
Prices approx.
DATs it.

Busboy, about those electrical plugs...Did you just tape the ends so no debris gets in there and then zip tie in place or??

Also, why would you recommend the Mini Maxx over the XRT Pro? Just wanting your take....I was planning on going with the XRT Pro and then just installing gauges. IDK though, what do you think.

Copious amounts of black tape it the route I went.

And I like analog gauges. That is why I went the the XRT Pro. Only downside to the XRT Pro is you cannot change power levels on the fly.

That's the route we went also, I can't see these trucks going back to stock now. I'm not a digital gauge guy I'm old school but when something is better, it's just better. The number of parameters that the mini max can display at once is limited to I think 5 but there are many more that can be selected to be displayed in place of the 5 you have selected. As we will probably maintain these trucks ourselves now, for a couple of hundred dollars more why not use a superb piece of on board monitoring equipment. Our choice of the mini max was clear, it's a Black Maxx with pyro just in a smaller size so less obtrusive, and it costs less.
Forgot to mention you can display ONE parameter of choice as analog.
